Brian Frank is the Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) and the DuPont Canada Chair in Engineering Education Research and Development in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, and a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He coordinates Engineering Practice, a required first year engineering course that focuses on topics including design, communications, and complex problem solving, and also coordinates the ECE capstone course. His research interests are in assessment in higher education, complex problem solving, and supporting transfer.
